Bridal Shower

It is the tradition for the bridesmaids to plan the bridal shower, and my sisters were all over it. I had two bridesmaids and one maid of honor; they were all my sisters and they were absolutely caring and amazing through the whole process.They were so excited about putting together a fun shower for me; and with all their excitement I too started to get excited about. In true fashion of an event planner, I started to get very involved in the early stage of planning and some how I meddled my way into helping them put it all together.

I thank my sisters for not shutting me out of the "bridal shower planning process" and for letting me "the planner"enjoy planning along with them :). We decided to have a brunch affair and there was no better location than the beautiful Mrs. K's Toll House in Silver Spring Maryland. It turned out to be such a memorable day filled with fun, food, laughter, great friends and family.

40th Birthday Celebration

It has been a really exciting year with lots of festivities. RAE Affairs had the privilege to plan the 40th birthday party of Nike Solaru. She didn't have a particular theme in mind so we decided to incorporate two of her favorite things "Travelling and her love for Shoes." These two things inspired the rest of the event as you will see from the pictures with the globe centerpieces, the shoes and very creative cake by Sugar Bakers. Nike was such a sweet client to work with and we are certainly glad her big day turned out to be lots of fun.
